bap lookup for FACEY*completed*

Hello
with some great help and advice from this forum i've managed to track facey's back to pitminster, taunton and church stanton, devon using genuki, freereg etc but have come to a stop with aaron facey, he died in 1807 in church stanton aged 98years making him born cira 1709 though i can't find a birth for him. any one have ideas as to where i should turn my search?

If you've not already done so, try the A2A site http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/

Go to Advanced search;  enter Facey; select Devon Record Office and wade through clicking the titles to 121 documents concerning them throughout Devon.

The FACEYs appear to have moved around similar routes to the GILLs [Henry married a Pitminster girl and took her back to Church Stanton].  Their descendants surfaced in Pitminster a century later:  what I wouldn't give to discover what drew them there.

thank you dee-jay for the advice i'll have a go. the faceys were a very actice lot, ours start off in church stanton then up to pitminster and the area surrounding on to burnham on sea and finish up in roath cardiff!

Evening all,
i'm still searching for any info on aaron facey born circa 1709. also have a name of wife Jean but no marriage record first child bap 26 aug 1750.
they were in church stanton, should post be in devon?

I also have a family line which ends with Aaron and Jean Facey in Churchstanton. Did you ever have any luck tracing any records showing his birth or Jean's maiden name?

I haven't looked at my research for many many months but was very grateful to have a reason thankyou!
I didn't discover Jeans maiden name though looking at my notes i think i've convinced myself she may have been a second marriage for Aaron. i did find his parents and siblings let me know if you'd like that info.
i haven't been actively researching for some time so there may be records available now that were not online 5 years ago.

I haven't managed to find details of Aaron's parents or siblings yet so if you could help with that it would be very much appreciated.  Did you find anything to suggest that Jean had been married previously or was it just a hunch you had?  Aaron and Jean were my 5th great grand parents so it would be great to take it back a further generation with their parents' names
