Hello,

I am looking for the baptism records for Edward White, born ca 1795 in Lingfield.
I believe his mother may have been a Susannah White, born ca 1761.
I would like to find out his fathers name and whether Edward had any siblings.

The IGI covers baptisms for Lingfield 1559-1812 but there are no White baptisms


Susannah White was buried in Lingfield 5th June 1843

Edward White married Susannah Roser at Lingfield on 12 April 1785 according to the Surrey Marriage Index

This is great news, thanks everybody for your help. Now my next question is did Edward White and Susannah Roser (married 1785) have any other children, other than Edward born ca 1795 ?

If anyone has access to the Surrey Baptism records for that time I would be very grateful if you could check for me please.

The link  given on the previous post details the three Edward White's in Lingfield on the 1851 census (the one married to Harriet being the one of interest) and the 1841 census of Edward pre his marriage
