Newbie here TRASK Somerset
« on: Monday 16 August 10 16:10 BST (UK) »
My earliest Trask ancestor, is Nicholas Trask, his son William, was a boat captain who settled in one of the first villages in the U.S.
I can help anyone who needs American genealogy with the Trask name.
Can any here help with English ancestors.
I think the original birthplace is East Coker.
William Trask was a Massachusetts Bay Colonist who arrived on the Endicott in 1633.
Thanks for any help,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

One site you may be interested in (if you have not already seen) is wwwfreereg.org.uk which lists some UK Parish Registers information.

There are numerous BMD's on that site for the name Trask of East Coker - births start from 1615, marriages from 1703 and deaths from 1615.

If there are any particular names you are looking for then may I suggest you post them on this board with as much information you have on the individual.

I have found that the Root Chatters can be most helpful!

Happy hunting  ;)

JJ
