1871 Census - WALKER/DABILL (COMPLETED)
« on: Sunday 03 April 05 17:25 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace my great grandparents JOHN & EMMA WALKER. I believe he was born in Eakring about 1848 and she was born in Oxton about 1852. I have found a possible marriage reference for December quarter 1871; if this is correct they would not have been married at the time of the census and her name would (I think) have been Emma Dabill (possible spelling variations Dorbill, Dabel, Deabill). John is shown on the 1881 Census as Horsekeeper (Dom) - I think he was probably a Carter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
