Anyone have any information about George W Slater married to Myrtle May Wilson of Moncton New Brunswick.  His mother was a Steeves of the Hillsboro Steeves New Brunswick.

If it's the George Slater born 1900 listed in 1911 census with parents Perley and Ella then it's unlikely the marriage will be available online but there might be an obituary.

That the one I am looking for.  Does anyone have anything about the parents Ella Steeves and Perley Slater?  These are my great grand parents and I am trying to trace the Slater side.

Well, I hope I am not spending time duplicating information you already know, but here goes:  I presume you find George Perley and Ella in 1901 with kids Hilda and George.  Then it is a short leap of faith to connect Robert Slater in same area (Hillsborough, Albert, NB) and his wife Susan, as probable parents of George (also 1901).  This is strengthened by the fact that there are Steeves living with the elder Slaters.

1881 census should provide additional info, but I will wait on that.

PS  I just checked the 1881 and the above may be a bad conjecture... sorry.
PPS  and now I've just checked your original question, and I see you are asking a completely different question from what I responded to... I can't win today.

Hi again, and by the way, welcome to RC!

Getting back to this several hours later - it appears your Slater predecessors may be quite difficult to find.  George Perley Slater seems to appear as a child in 1881 and 1891 censuses living with the Isaac Milton family in Hillsborough.  Interesting in that in 1881 they are living next to a Steeves family.

I'll quit now until we hear back from you.

George William Slater, son of George P. Slater and Ella D. Steeves, was born 10 Nov.1900 Hillsborough according to late birth registration.
There is also one for brother which gives more detail in the index- Howard Isaiah Slater born 9 Feb.1914 Hillsborough, parents George Perley Slater and Ella Drucilla Steeves.
Another son- Walter Alfred Slater born 10 Jan.1910 Hillsborough (Perley Slater and Ella Steeves).
And a daughter- Wilma Angel Slater born 4 Nov.1904 Hillsborough (Perley George and Ella Drusilla).

My two responses are about George Perley.  Apparently his parents were out of the picture by 1881 since he appears then and in 1891 with Miltons.  Are you familiar with the Canadian censuses available at Library and Archives Canada?
