WW2 9th Bn. Warwicks
« on: Thursday 19 August 10 14:31 BST (UK) »
Hi All

I know from my Grandfathers service record that he served in the 9th Bn Warwicks regiment. Ive searched and searched online for more info on the 9 Warwicks, ideally a war diary or similar. Does anyone know if there is one? Or be able to point me in the direction of more information?

Many Thanks

Many Thanks. As far as i can see from re-reading his service record is that he joined them in March 1945 and was then posted to India in the November. Im guessing this was just as some sort of peace keeping force?

You could try the Regimental Musuem for any information 1945 onwards.
