Fetteresso 1861 census
« on: Thursday 19 August 10 21:17 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help please.

I have found John & Isabella Falconer on the index to the 1861 census on Ancestry and paid for some credits on Scotlands People to look at the original census but it cannot be found.

He was born about 1774 in Garvock, Kincardine and was a retired farmer.

I also found a christening entry on the OPR's on familysearch which again cannot be found on Scotlands People.

Regards,

In the ScotlandsPeople Index of the 1861 Census I entered the name John Falconer (but didn't include his wife's name) and found a person of that name aged 87 in Fetteresso Parish, Kincardineshire.  Hope this helps.
I also had a look at the IGI and found a John Falconar (sic) baptised at Garvock on 21 Jan 1779 his parents being Alexander Falconer and Ann Rodger.
