Alexander Paterson born  1891 Wigtownshire left Scotland c 1908 for America where did he eventually settle .Any help much appreciated .

I'm fine yes that is Stirlingshire it would be Kirkcolm or Portpatrick  Wigtownshire . He would be travelling with brother Samuel b 1883 or alone as both parents died in Wigtownshire

Yes that is the brother the spelling changes . I am not sure where they were in the Stranraer area as I am unable to access the 1911 census till next year . If he went 1909 I am certain brother would follow . Mrs. Riddock could be from his mothers side Paterson is my direct line.

I have just been looking through my notes for this family and discovered Alexander went in 1910 not 1908 someone gave me this info. and I have never been able to prove it.
