Ernest George Perry and Ivy Perry (nee Brammer)

I am trying to trace what became of Ernest Perry, known as Gerry, and his wife Ivy.  Gerry was in the RAF in WW2, was born in Mile End in 1916 and married Ivy Brammer in 1949, registered in West Ham.  It is not known where or when she was born.  It is thought they may have moved to the Southend area of Essex.  Any help would be appreciated.   
Smart and Purslow in Northamptonshire and Philp in Nottingham.  Fairburn orinally from Yorkshire.

There was an Ernest George Perry who died in Southend 1985 age 69. Birthdate is 31st Jan 1916.
