BRENCHLEY parish registers
« on: Monday 23 August 10 18:19 BST (UK) »
I'd be grateful if someone could tell me where the parish registers for Brenchley are available. I'm particularly interested in baptisms and marriages in the second quarter of the 1700s

Sorry - just followed a link in another thread (Tonbridge) in ths forum and found my answer!
HOWEVER - consulting IGI C130941 (Christenings 1560-1771) it seems to be an all female list, whereas the christening I'm looking for was a male.

Have you tried the Record Search Pilot on the Familysearch site - there are many, many more entries for Kent there?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have indeed tried the FS Pilot, with no success. I had been hoping that Brenchley's PRs had been transcribed, or were available somewhere on film or fiche. I'm planning a research trip to Kent in the near future - Brenchley was on my to-do list.

Kent Family History Society www.kfhs.org.uk has Brenchley All Saints CMB. 1560-1837 transcriptions available to order. See under Sales - Microfiche button on web page.

Sorry Gary - my only interest in Brenchley is the Godden family.
Best of luck with your research
