Hi

Thank you for the PM drawing my attention to the wedding certificate on

This shows that "Ellinor" Simkins's father was John Simkins, a scrivener.  I have had a quick look at the 1841 and 1851 censuses but could not find a likely John Simkins but I probably gave up too soon.

I also looked at familysearch and found:

"Eleanor <Simkins>
Christening: 6th April 1828 Ullingswick, Hereford, England
Father: Jno Simkins
Mother: Olive
Batch No: C135371"
