sometimes they put age 21 to indicate they were of full age i.e. meaning they were over 21

Thank you alisont, gortonby and toni for all your help.  That is quite an unusual name so I think it must be the right chap. 
I have just spoken to my Mum to tell her that my grandmother would have had Hunt cousins.  She says Granny didn't even know about all of her uncles and aunts.  There were 11 children born over 20 years and the older ones would probably have left home before her father was born so she may never have met them.

there was a group bp. of Hunt children at St Saviour, Paddington on 2 Nov 1886 children of Philip & Ann

Philip Nathanial, Miriam and Ruth
dont know if they are connected
