Llangernyw births
« on: Thursday 26 August 10 23:11 BST (UK) »
Hi

This is a bit of a long shot I know but would someone be able to tell me if there are any children called John born in Llangernyw, the illegitimate child of William Morris in the year of 1860 perhaps plus or minus 1 year but most likley in 1860.

I will explain in full if anyone can face the trawl. I know I am asking a lot but I feel very confused on the trail of this John Jones, John Wynne or John Wynne Jones or John ?????

He was apparently very secretive about his heritage and is foxing me completely.

Hi pricewynne, you're confused ??? ;D Hello H.

 I looked at Llangernyw baptisms 1855 - 1865.

Feb 22 1857 John s/o William & Mary Morris. Fathers Occ, Labourer

April 14 1857. David s/o David & Hannah Morris. Miller

Oct 18 1857. David William s/o David Wynne. Abode, Bryniau, fair ucha. Occ, Labourer. & Jane Jones. Abode, Rhw?gy, ddwyffordd. Occ, Servant.

July 6 1860. John s/o David Wynne. Bryniau, fair isa. Labourer. & Jane Jones. Rhw?gy ddwyffordd.

I couldn't see a marriage for them :-X

Paul.

Eek you are a star you have just solved my difficulties. I have a marriage certificate with a David William Jones witnessing the marriage of John Wynne Jones, looks like one brother may have kept the Wynne surname and one didn't, both the sons of David Wynne.

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
