How come none of the children are listed on the Texas Birth Index (1903-1997)?

Maybe I did something wrong?

No, I found the same thing. There was no result for any of them... A little bit strange. I put it down as they weren't registered.

There is a Luther Barrett, born 8 November 1914, Delta County (Texas).  No parent listed.

I didn't see Obera.  Will have a look for the others, in case they are hiding somewhere.

That's him... He died in 1990.

Hmmm, the Texas index shows 8 November, but his gravestone shows 19 August.

I've been looking but haven't found anything. It's strange that there' very little in regards to the families life and Rosies's maiden name.

Have you tried searching for the sons on the WWII Draft Reg?  (After a quick look, I don't see Luther.)  I couldn't find a record of Horace Lonnie for WWI.
