Hi--
I am a descendant of John Thirlwall and Anne d'Arcy Wilson and can probably answer your questions, if you are still interested.

Anne died giving birth to her daughter, Violet, in Dec. 1871.  John (my g-g-grandfather) married Christina Wilson in 1872. After John died in 1875, my great-grandfather John, oldest son, decided with his step-mother Christina , where to send all the children.  Four of them went to live with their mother's cousin Wiullaim Wilson, in Nova Scotia, and some went back to England to live with aunts or uncles.

Can I ask why you are interested in Bernard, who died in an institution in Minnesota?

Hello Darcy, Welcome to RootsChat :)

I am sorry but your reply has failed to reach two of the members, it looks one has changed email address but sadly it looks like Justine died in 2015, I am very sorry to be the bearer of this sad news.

Regards

Sarah
