Hi Nick,
I've just joined and found this thread. I would assume we hail from the same Bohannon's (my family are from Essex, the Bohannon side from Pleshey). Unfortunately I having nothing more to add, as I have hit the same brick wall. There is a page on Facebook (something about the Magna Carta & Pleshey). It seems to relate the Bohannon name to de Bohun, although it doesn't give details. Are you related also the the Hasler & Beard families? They are all interlinked on my family tree.

Hi. I was reading through posts about bohannan and saw your post. Just wondering if you have any information on the family. My link goes back to nathaniel c bohannon born in 1754 but no further back.
