14 Kings Road Lancing

Kia Ora
Greetings from New Zealand.

I am wondering if anyone knows of the above  address please? It is named on a 1969 Death Cert I have just received.
I presume the area has changed during the last 40 years but any insider knowledge would be gratefully accepted!

Where would the deceased person be likely to be buried? Is there a local cemetery or C o E  or Presbyterian Church graveyard?

Any help gratefully received!
Thanks
Dale

Have a look on googlemaps to see if it is there, and if it is then the street view will show you what it is like now!

If you go to Google maps to find 14 Kings Road, which is still there.  On the map go north - St James Parish Church has a Cemetery, there ius also a small cemetery at the corner of the A27, Manor Road and Upper West Lane.  The main cemetery for the Lancing area is at the top of Upper Boundstone Lane which is also North of the A27.  Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your advice! Apologies for the delay in responding! I have been 'out of action' folowing an accident & just catching up!

I had not appreciated the proximity to Brighton! Guess it must have been a retirement home for my man - I am tracking family   from my gtgrandies who emigrated in the 1870s ::)

I'll have to write  to the church and cemeteries see if I can find the final resting place of the last of the McGorrerys!
Thanks for your help!
