Cousins and degrees of kinship
« on: Friday 03 September 10 06:39 BST (UK) »
In our researches, most of us have come across 1st,2nd and 3rd cousins plus the times removed.

I have an 8th cousin recently added to my tree and going through my list I have all the degrees of kinship from 1st to 8th and the times removed contained therein
I am in contact with a 3rd cousin

My question is, what are the furthest and most distant cousins anyone has found. [living or dead],what degree of kinship in your tree is anyone in contact with?

Also, how far can you go with degrees of kinship, before they include your neighbours !
