Maria born 14 September 1827 and christened 1 December 1827.

Presumably a sibling that died if the younger Maria A (born circa 1840) is anything to go by.

William Rossiter, 64, Edge Tool Maker born Wells
Ann Rossiter, 63, born Wanstrow
Maria Amelia Rossiter, 21, Dressmaker, born Whatley


so William Rossiter died between 1861 and 1871.....

Edit:  possible death registration July-Aug-Sept 1869, Frome District, aged 72.
