Well there middle names would be a great help to tracing them, any army service records or decedents of theres?
Oh! by the way, there are many on here and other forums who do much more work than me but thanks for the acknowledgment.

Hi

The other night I discovered that your posting regarding your Grandfather John Campbell Smith and his sister Nellie Christine Smith are in fact my Uncle and Aunt.

Is it possible for your to contact me.

Many Thanks.

Hi again

Sorry to reply this way but I am a new comer to this site and are unable to send personal messages, also a little confussed with site.

Have been tracing the Smith Family for about 3 years and had a year off and as you know the Smith family is not easy to trace and I was in need of a break.

My  family connection is Clifford Smith-have quite a few bits of information but as to date I cannot find any info about my Grandfather this being your Great Grandfather.

Maybe we can talk direct but in the meantime please keep in touch and we can keep up to date with our finds.

Regards Patsymax

Hi

I have just joined trying to chase my family tree.
My grandfather was Stanley Naylor ( related to William Naylor) and my grandmother Norah Smith who was related to Nellie. My father Peter Naylor was born in 1938 in Eccles/Swinton. Norah's father was Peter Smith. Norah's family used to own bakers shops and worked at Hovis.

Hi Seagull Surfer,

Got your message about the Naylor family. I have not had the opportunity to do any family tree stuff for a long time. Give me a few days to get my head back into it and then I can talk more sensibly about it.  Nellie Christine Smith was my grandfather's sister.

Thanks
