Hi Heather
Yves was a Serjeant in the King's Own Scottish Borderers, who died age 49 on 16th Feb 1947. He is in the St Peter Port Cemetery (Foulon) Guernsey. His wife was Ellen (or Nellie, Nell) who lived in Guernsey before (I think) and after the war. When Guernsey was occupied, Nell had already left and headed to Berwick. Other family members visited her there during the war. Yves was on active service away from Guernsey. At the time of Yves death, Nell's address was Croutes St Peter Port.
Ernest Le Friec (brother) was a Stoker 1st Class with HMS Victory at the time of his death in Berwick (27/03/1942). He is in the Tweedmouth Cemetery.
Harry Le Friec (brother) was in the RAF, but returned to Guernsey after the war.
Lucian Le Friec (brother) lived in Guernsey and ran a private hotel with his wife Win at Havelet, St Peter Port after the war.
Leontine (sister) lived in Guernsey and married Fred West.
Louise (sister) lived in Guernsey and married George Brennan.
