It is a poor transcription but also poorly written by the enumerator. It is Queen's County.
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

If I were you I'd ask a Moderator to move your enquiry to the Laois board, to avoid duplication.

Tracing Irish relatives this far back can be tricky.  Statutory birth records only started in 1864. Prior to that you are relying on church records which are often incomplete. Ideally you need to know the person's religion, and the parish or townland they came from.

It would be very useful in helping you confirm, or rule out, any baptisms you may find later. The marriage cert may also help establishing the religion for Mary's family.
