JACOB JAGER/HUNTER

I am trying to find information on Jacob Jager (born Germany 1849) who arrived in Liverpool via USA and is on 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census as Jacob Hunter.  He died in Liverpool in 1932.  He says he is a British Subject, but haven't been able to find any naturalisation papers.  Any ideas?

OK Jacob H Hunter died 1932 aged 82 Liverpool ....this is obviously your Jacob ..
What does the H stand for ...this will be a big help ...allan

Sarah is aged 8 in the 1881 census ,
Sarah aged 8 b America  scholar
Jacob Hunter aged 3 b Liverpool
Mary A Hunter aged 1 b Liverpool
so we are looking for a marriage around 1872 and probably in America....so , would he have gotten American naturalisation and then British ?...need a bit of help here I think...allan

(found the other Mary Ann Clayfield Hunter with dad William in 1881 census..)

Thanks for your input guys.  Jacob married in 1868 in Boston, Mass, USA to Sarah E Lythgoe. Haven't been able to find naturalisation papers for US or UK as yet.
