Gt gt Grandmother Margaret Spindlow married Henry Hull  on 20/12/1853 at Brackaville C of I, Donaghenry,Dungannon. Her father was Willian Spindlow. Margaret had brothers Robert,John ,James & William & sisters Mary Ann, & Emily. Don't know the order of birth. Some of these were lightermen, working on the canals.
My gt grandmother, also Margaret, was born in Coalisland but later worked in the mills near Lisburn.
My grandfather had a cousin Harry Spindlow, married to Elsie who lived in Co Down

Judging from the marriage date you might want to start searching for church records since civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages started in 1864 (from 1845 for non-Catholic marriages).

What is the IGI, please? William Spindlow married Ann McCullough in 1821, then Hannah Patterson in 1846 at Brackaville, Donaghenry, Co Tyrone. Don't know if both had children to him, or just one.
The 1901 & 1911 Census both have Spindlows but I do not know their relationship to each other - there are some in Armagh & some in Tyrone. As it is an unusual name I assume they are all related but do not have any proof yet. I have been told by a family member that Spindlow is a derivitive of an Italian name, but I have been unable to verify this.
Thank you for your help.

kmc:I am not sure how this will fit with your family record.
My great grandmother was Emily Spindlow (born c. 1830
died 1889)daughter of William Spindlow of Brackaville, Coalisland.
She married married John Moneypenny at Brackaville  on 15 October 1852
Both Spindlows and Moneypennys were lightermen on
the Newry Canal.
