Alfred Jordan b. 1900 Glamorgan S. Wales. Emigrated to Toronto

Looking for info on Alfred JORDAN

Have just scraps of info:

He was born in Bedwas Monmouthshire, South Wales UK. Son of Alfred JORDAN & Annie CLARK

He emigrated to Toronto  Ontario in 1920's he was married.
Have a telegram from a Mrs Jordan of KINGSTON ROAD Toronto asking family here to ring her.  Was she informing us of Alfreds death?  Telegram dated 5/2/1965

Any help would be appreciated.  Is there a death index or orbituary site?
Electoral lists?  Did he have a family?

I think you can pay to view the Toronto Star newspaper and you might find an obit there. Don't have the site but I'm sure you could Google it.
