There's a great article in the Nottingham Evening Post, 19 Sep 1913 entitled "MINE THAT NEVER STOPS -A Quaint Old Scottish Village".

Do you have access to Find My Past?

hello

Is there a link to the article in the Evening Post or do you need to buy a membership?.  I joined up then it said you have to pay to view the article.

regards

I was just doing some family research and find that I have a Great Great Great Great Aunt born 5 August 1747 in House of Muir Ormiston, a Margaret Naismith.
She had 4 children. One of which I am descended from who moved west toward Hamilton, Lanarkshire.
Fascinating research on the "Naismith" clan for any interested
