Can anyone work out the occupation of John?

Sorry I have no idea ...  :-\, but have you tried comparing it with others on the same page in case someone else has the same occupation but it's more legible?

I think I've found the same John and Mary - baptism of a daughter, Mary, in 1703 and he's a weaver then...  :-\

Took me a while to even find John but yeah I would go with the flow and say weaver.

Yes, a weaver, you seem to have confirmation from a subsequent baptism. I saw it as I had the same occupation and problems with my 2XGGF, but 77 years later.
