Michael Feeney of Roscommon
« on: Saturday 16 October 10 17:39 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I am seeking information regarding a Michael Feeney born on or around 24 August 1832 in Roscommon.  Michael's parents were listed as Michael and Mary Feeney.  Townland/Parish unknown.  Michael arrived at the Port of Boston, Massachusetts on 27 April 1849 on the ship "Robert".  He married a Catherine Cronin and resided in West Roxbury, Massachusetts until his death in the mid 1860's.
Any information/help  would be greatly appreciated..

Sara C.

Michael was born before the start of full civil registration, so parish records will be required to locate a baptism (if records for his parish exist for that time). You need to establish the family religion and a location - i.e. town, townland or parish so you can check what records are available.
