help needed please

hello hope some one can help ,im trying to find any information on a mary edwards born around 1814 Llansanfraid
 ive been led to this county as ive got marys birth town from the 1861 census and  her surname from   bmd marriage  index in 1838 to stephen mummery in rochford kent ,
apart fro that i know zilch about this lady
so i was hoping that some one might know of anything via parish records maybe a correct year of birth or even the names of parents ,bit of a long shot i know but you never know

ps mary died 1877 in anglesey

Both the 1851 and 1871 give Montgomeryshire as her birthplace- only the 1861 gives Merionethshire

hello again carolew ,
so now im confused does this mary mummery nee edwards  (hopefully i got the surname  correct )
come from from montgomeryshire  or from merionethshire  .
its the only marriage i can find for a stephen mummery and a mary before 1840

IGI has a christening of Mary Edwards on 29 August 1813 at Llansaintffraid Yn Mechan, Montgomeryshire. Parents William and Margaret Edwards.

The 1838 marriage you found is very likely to be the right one as it was in Essex and son Stephen J was born there (per previous thread)

thank you to the both of you , looks like it must be her , at least now when i  go down that road its a start

 given that  the 1851 gives  Montgomeryshire and 1871 give Montgomeryshire Llansanfraid as her birthplace and the 1861 gives Llansanfraid Merionethshire ,in your expert opinion which county is the most likely ,

is or was  there a Llansanfraid in both counties

ive just looked now and there is a Llansantffraid Deythur,a Llansantffraid Pool in montgomrshire
and in meriothshire a Llansantffraid Glyn Ceiriog ,Llansantffraid Glyn Dyfrdwy,
i have just realised that stephen and mary where married in 1838 so i should be able to order a copy of ther marriage certificate that then should give me at least her faters name and age i hope
