it says on the census give he was born in Leitrim, one of this daughers Mary was born in England.
rest born in Cork

I have just got hold of a book called 'Historical Notes on the Ancient Sept of Clancy' by Maria Clancy. It tells the history of the Clancy families in Leitrim and Sligo.
