Thank you, again,

In the 1861 Jersey census they were living at 27 Val Plaisant, St. Helier., I imagine it would be St.Laurence , as William Thomas Le Brun  born there 1839 according to the census. No def. confirmation.

His parents  Willian Le Brun and Jane Mary Cunning ( born Sark ) were married in St. Laurance  in 1837. No def. confirmation.

There were  a number of children born to William Thomas and Charlotte Susan Le Brun between 1861 and 1869 on Jersey.

Mary Elizabeth Agnes born 21/5/1861
Kathleen Trousdell   born 18/7/1863
Charlotte Meadows Elvine born 12/10/1864
John William Dudley born 17/2/1866
Henry Persse born 7/1/1868    lived  my husband's grandfather.
Edward born 19/4/1869

I wonder if any of these died on Jersey as young children ???

Any help would be great.

The other ODD thing is that Jane Mary le Brun ( married to William circa 1837 ) appears on the 1861 census as married, but no sigh of William, her husband !!!!

A few pieces of information for you.

William Thomas Le Brun was baptised on 7/10/1838 in St Lawrence. His parents were William Le Brun and Jane Mary Cunning.

William Le Brun and Jane Mary Cunning were not married in St Lawrence that I could see and Jane Mary may have born in Sark but she was baptised in Jersey.

St Lawrence baptisms
9/12/1810 David
18/5/1816 Jeanne Marie
30/8/1818 Marie

All the children of David Cunning(s) and Jeanne Le Gros

In 1871 Jane Mary is living with her mother in New Street St Helier still minus a husband.

As for the children of William and Charlotte, I can confirm that at least 2 of them died in infancy.

From the St Helier deaths indexes

May 1860-Dec 1861 Page 77, Mary Eliza Agnes Le Brun
Feb 1867-May 1868 page 94 Kathleen Trowsdall Le Brun

None of the others were immediately obvious but it doesn't mean they weren't there - I went up to 1875.
