« on: Friday 29 October 10 11:51 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Can anybody please help find a Charles Hazell b 1874 Paris. I know very little on him except his parents were John Hazell and Jane Clements.
I would love to find a marriage for him if possible and any other details on what happened to his family  :)

FreeBMD:

Marriage - Jun Qtr 1898, Brixworth (Northamptonshire) on the same page:
Charles HAZELL
Agnes SLATER

Moulton comes under Brixworth Division

The 1881 & 1891 Census have an Agnes SLATER b abt 1876 Moulton Northamptonshire; with parents Isaac & Harriet in 1881 and a servant in1891. There is also a birth index for Agnes SLATER in Brixworth district 1876.

Were his parents John Hazell and Jane Clemens Wilshire (Jane Clements Wilshire?) who married in 1865, possibly?

Someone here is linked:

Quote
In late 1871, I suspect as a widow, Jane Clements Wilshire took her three children, including Elizabeth Hazell, to Fontainebleau, France, presumably to work on an estate.  I have a pass signed by Lord Granville: 27.10.1871.  (This would have been shortly after the Paris commune...) She was there until 1874.

(although it does not appear she was a widow of course, as she appears with her husband and Charles, as well as her older three children, on the 1881 census).

Hi Sue

You're welcome!

Wife: Elizabeth TURNER 31, b Chelsea London
Son: Albert H TURNER 1, b Bray, Berks
Mother-in-Law: Jane C HAZELL 52, married, b Ryde, Isle of Wight
Boarder: George J CASTLE 17, unm, Groom, Domestic {worker] b Maidenhead, Berks
Boarder: William C WATERS 20, unm, Domestic {worker] b Charlbury, Oxon

And his father - age is out, and listed as 'single' - but living on the same street as Charles
1901: 21 Birkbeck Place, Lambeth, London
Head: Rupert C J READ, 31, Carpenter,b Romsey Kent
Wife: Annie 21, b Horsham, Sussex
Dau: Daisey 7, b Thurlow Hill West Norwood

(Charles was at 36 Birkbeck - have edited previous post, as I missed noting that down!)
