Does anybody remember or have any information on an old pub in Northwich called The Ark Inn?

Thank you

The only Ark Inn that appears in the Historical Directories is in the Market Place, Winsford.

I can't quite read what it says on the census.
It is either the ark inn or the oak inn at marketplace.
Thanks.

I've just realised my mistake...........

I am interested in the ark inn or oak inn, Winsford and NOT Northwich.

I am looking at the 1901 census:

Head - William L Hodgson - born about 1848
Wife - Mary Hodgson - born about 1849
Son - Fred Cawley - born about 1888

The address is 21 Market place, The *** Inn, wharton, part of winsford, cheshire

I just dont know if its the ark inn or the oak inn

Thanks

Definately the "Ark" as the "Royal Oak" is ennumerated on the following page. A list of Licencees for the Ark, has a gap between William Burrows ending his tenure in 1896 and Thomas Brereton starting his in 1901.
- Possibly the years when William Hodgson was Licensee.
