Hi Norah,  just to confirm in response to your mention of Anne 'Nannie' Elliott Knight that she was a  niece of my gg grandmother Matilda Jane Fitzgerald (daughter of James Fitzgerald & Elizabeth Young). Nannie Knights mother Anne Fitzgerald was a sister of Matilda Jane, as far as I am aware.

Thank you for this. I would refer you to a James Fitzgerald, journalist and author of Toronto, Canada.
He has created an extensive family tree of the descendants of William Fitzgerald 11th Knight of Kerry. at http://jamesfitzgerald.info/Genealogy.html  Also document http://www1.xe.net/~mbone/webtree/data/fitzgerald_d/index.htm

Thank you for your reply.  I have already seen the links & was in contact with both Mr Fitzgerald & Mr Bone a couple of years ago but for anyone who searching for Fitzgerald's of Clones & hasn't seen their research its well worth a look.
