Gertrude BROUGHTON, 1886 NSW

A puzzle - would appreciate some help solving it.
Richard Broughton married Elizabeth Jane Higgins
MC 1874 Q1 Skipton 9a 73 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England.
In 1881 they are in Barnoldswick, near Skipton, Yorks, UK, and I cannot find the family in 1891 in the UK.

In 1901 Jane and Gertrude are in Barnoldswick, near Skipton Yorks. The census entry has Gertrude, from NSW. Jane is a widow. There is an appropriate death for Richard registered in Skipton in 1899 Q4, correct age.

Is the NSW birth the correct one?
Is there  anything in Aus emmigration/immigration records that gives any clues when the cam e and went - and more interestingly why they didnt stay?

Well, I am noting also that there are deaths for RICHARD and JANE BROUGHTON on the NSW indexes

So I do think another couple of the same name were in SYDNEY at the time.

Aniph - My Richard born 1851, Elizabeth Jane born 1853. So ages are correct
Alison2763 -  March arrival corresponds with krises second departure - age incorrect
Krises - depart London Jan 1891 - they must have returned to UK between 1887 and 1891??

Which gives
Richard & Jane dep UK 13 Jan 1884 - paid or assisted?
Gertrude born 1887, poss other children
Jane/Gertrude 1887-1891 return to UK at some point
Jane/Gertrude dep UK 30 Jan 1891
Richard return UK before death Q4/1899
Jane/Gertrude return UK before 5 Apr 1901 (census)

Did I some that up correctly?

Begs the following questions-
Missing travel dates?
Did Richard stay in Aus when Gertrude/Jane returned in 1887 -1891
Did they all return together 1891-1899, or did Richard travel first, and the girls return after Richards death?

In 1881 Census my Richard is a farmer, and in 1901 and after Jane is a confectioner.
I believe Gertrude dies 1907 (not confirmed), not found 1911 census and no marriage found
but could she have returned to Aus?
Jane dies 1933, Skipton - correct age but not confirmed.
