Thanks for all your efforts both of you.

Actually seem to remember Cougar couldn't find Stepney Green when someone wanted it once and that is very near Trafalgar Square.

Kennyb  I have them in 1851 thanks anyway.

I'm just filling in missing years.

I have now been able to find this address.

Details are as follows
Victory Row, MEOT
Benjamin Gower 40 Rope M J (Ropemaker Journeyman)
Eliza 35
Joseph 12
James 10
John 8
George 6
Alfred 2
Mary Carter 70

All born in counyy except Mary Carter.  Not absolutely certain that Mary is part of the household but have included her just in case.

Headington and Bateman - London
Feltwell - Norfolk and London

My 3rd great grandfather was living at 16 victory row white horse lane Stepney in 1848 aged 59 widower. Its written in poor law removal and settlement records.
