Will proved at Ludlow
« on: Monday 11 April 05 22:39 BST (UK) »
Er, can anyone tell me where a will proved at Ludlow is likely to be kept these days?
I have an extract of a will from 1761 which was proved at Ludlow (though the person lived in Worcestershire) and I would like to check if there are any others for the same family. I am a bit confused about where to look. Could it even be Herefordshire? Or at Litchfield? Anyone know?

I have just looked at the Diocese of Hereford's website and it states:

All archive material is kept at the County Record Offices - Shropshire Record Office for the Ludlow Archdeaconry
