Am looking for a baptism of James Barnacle at St Margaret's around 1834 and his parents marriage around 1820. I believe his parents were William and Elizabeth Barnacle.

From an old WDYTYA cover disc, baptisms @ St. Margaret's, Leic -

James Barnacle, 25 Jan 1843, s/o William & Elizabeth

also,

William Barnicle, 05 Mar 1817, s/o William & Elizabeth
Henry Barnacle, 03 Dec 1819, s/o William & Elizabeth
Mary Ann Barnacle, 11 Jul 1828, d/o William & Elizabeth
John Barnacle, 26 Apr 1837, s/o William & Elizabeth
George Barnacle, 27 Jan 1841, s/o William & Elizabeth

Sorry, I don't have any marriage records though.

Hi Mike,
Is there any chance you can look up my Great Grandfather William Mountain born about 1886.  His mother was Ellen and Father was William also.

Many Thanks

Tracey
(Mountain) from Flockton, Yorkshire.  (Slater) from Astbury,  (Whiteside) from Kirkam, (Birchall) from Bolton, (Cordy) from Aston.

Ruding Veasey (Veasy/Vesey) and his wife Catherine had 5 children baptised at St. Margarets between 1768 and 1776. Is there any other trace of Ruding and his wife in the registers (I'm hoping they were married there!)

Many thanks,

Linda

Many thanks Mike - as you say another nice name to research!  At least the first name of Ruding is reasonably distinctive. :)

Hi I have some folks by the name of Fray who lived around St Margarets from 1820's onward and any details of people born pre 1840 would be welcome BUT my main interest is in Thomas born c1850 and had children 1870-1893 I have conflicting information regarding his marriage(s?). One source claims he married Hannah Frances Wood in 1868, another that his wife was Emma Wood and a third that she was Emma Neale. Are these the same woman or did HannahF leave the scene and Emma take her place causing the confusion. He certainly appears to be living with an Emma as man and wife in the census.
