hi Evelyn, just found this sight and I am interested in your family. sounds like we could be related. my great great great grandfather was John and Mary( McManus) Cassidy. my great great grandfather was John and Ann (Reynolds)Cassidy. John was born in Ireland 1798 died 1864.
Until now I never knew where in Ireland they came from so it is interesting to know that they came from Cloones in Co.Leitrim. hope this is of interest to you. I have a family tree going back to John & Mary. I live in East Lothian. Cathie

I have other relatives in Co Donegal and also in co Monaghan so will be coming to Ireland some time this year. I could tie this in with a visit to Cloones. Cathie
