Hi Jamison,

There is a David KEDDIE arriving Vic aboard the NEGOTIATOR 3 Jun 1857. He was aged 30. There look to be several KEDDIE's aboard. On the same page (Book 11a page 56) as David I note Thomas 22 and Robert 20.

Other family may have been aboard with these boys listed with other single males. (The boys may or may not be connected)

Looking at 1851  census in Creich Fife we have a family who may fit these boys (you would need original)  a John HEDDIE[sic] Janet RITCHIE along with Thomas KEDDIE 15, Robert KEDDIE 13 and Christine KEDDIE 6 and a couple of other children with different surnames

I note on an ancestral file ( so submitted lists David as the child of this John and Janet married 3 Feb 1822 in
Dairsie) This file lists a second marriage 1 Dec 1854 to Margaret HERD which fits with names of passengers aboard the NEGOTIATOR

Some baptisms listed to this couple in Forgan, Kilmany, Creich

I do not see a baptism listed to this couple for David. (though others from passenger list are there)

There appears to be a Vic death (age out but other details agree with Ceres baptism posted by Sid earlier)

If this is him it looks like the others aboard that ship were not his immediate family.

Death in 1882 Beranyon Vic #4515 lists David KEDDIE aged 49 parents Thomas KEDDIE and Christina BROWN

Cheers Kris  :)
