non conformist records

Any tips for searching these? I tried to search them last night but it was soooo sloooow I gave up! I am unable to find some of my Welsh marriages and thought I might find them in these records.

What denomination, location and time period are you interested in? Some are available on-line, others not.

Not sure of denomination. From a newspaper article I think they were involved in Zion/Tabernacle (?) church. The family lived in Pontardulais, Glamorgan and the marriages will have taken place mainly in the years just after WWI. Surname Thomas.

I assume you cannot find them in the GRO Indexes.

Any marriages for this period should be recorded in the GRO index.

I'm not familiar with records for the area. Someone else may be able to advise on whether any church/chapel records for this period are available on-line.

You can see the coverage of births in FreeBmd 1910-1929 at  http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/progressB.shtml#1910 there is 100% coverage

Sorry, I don't know why I said births  marriages are the same at 100% except for two quarters in 1920
