William Poole and Catherine Coombs

Looking for info on William Poole(merchant)and his wife Catherine Coombs(milliner) married 1792 Lyme Regis.They had a daughter Sarah born 1800 who married George Henry Stevens at Hackney Middlesex 1826.I think George was a schoolmaster-could be wrong.I know nothing of William and Catherine.Many thanks for help from Australia

The only info I can add is that at William and Catherine's marriage the witnesses were Elizabeth Coombs and George Coombs. Could be her brother and sister or brother and his wife.

Nothing on William and Catherine -but It looks like you are correct re George Henry Stevens occupation - Sarah was a schoolmistress too!

Have you seen the grave transcription for William, Catherine and some of his family? It is here (no 52) and has some interesting facts about their son William. William (senior) appears to have missed the 1841 census by only a few days:
