have magnified in Picasa
and it is looking   more like BURKE on Charles b/cert 
I do know that names change from one year to the next
I dont normally have trouble uploading etc
but can not get it to work on here
will try again after evening meal

If things become desperate, Henry Banks' birth certificate may help.

I can't see a marriage for Martin and Eliza in England.
Nor can I see one for Edward and Betsy who, if it is them, they are with in 1861  - not with any variations of spellings.

We'll just have to wait to see if that birth certificate is him - fingers crossed

i did find more on Edward and Betsy 1871 census they had more children
so i am now going to wait,as i could be barking up the wrong tree

Martin has arrived  ( martin malley ) mother Eliza Burk, no e on the end this time
and he has the same mother as Charles
so it was a gamble that paid of
just needed confirmation of District's
and thanks to you  I was pointed in the right direction
martin was   b.16/4/1962.......................Portobello,Willenhall,Wolverhampton
County of Stafford
so later this evening i will be on my way again
