Great site,but where is Edensor?

Edensor - pronounced en-sor - is the Chatsworth "staff" village on the Chatsworth estate in Derbyshire.

One of the Dukes of Devonshire  destroyed the original village and rebuilt it at a slightly different place and with the difference that all the houses faced away from the walks he liked to take.
There were no doors or windows facing the walks. This was in the 1840`s.I`m not sure if later building was the same.
.It could be assumed perhaps that he had some sort of phobia about being looked at.
Much of the land nearby is owned by the Duke of Rutland  as part of the Haddon Estate.Viktoria.

... and so that the village couldn't be seen from Chatsworth House !
