If you look for Charles Hoggard born c 1817 Blyth in the 1851 Census John and Ann are with him;
John Hoggard born c 1787, Swaiston, Notts
Ann Hoggard born c 1789, Barlbine, Derbyshire

Hopefully we are onto something here.

EDIT I first I thought she had died ( Wife Ann) but may have been visiting someone in 1841 or John has remarried between 1841/1851???

i see that in 1891 they are in coatham which is in the guisborough reg dist.
which makes the deaths posted seem a good bet

there is a death of a samuel hoggard born 1824 in 1895 in stockton reg dist is this him
only there is a susannah hoggard born 1831 in middlethorpe lincolnshire living in stockton reg dist in 1901 she is a widow
