Howdy Yall from Texas where the Winter tempratures are in the balmy 70's (fahrenheit)

I need some direction in locating an immigrating ancestor pre 1700.  I have a verifyable line back to a birth in 1692 Virginia USA and get stuck.....   where can I find UK records that old??
