Jane Ann Pogg

I wonder if anyone can assist with finding the parents of Jane Ann Pogg born County Cavan, Ireland in 1836.
Jane married George Kemp b.1811 in 1857.
Children produced were Sarah Ann, William and George Thomas. They lived in Swinton. Yorkshire
Any info would be appreciated
I believe that Jane's parents stayed in Cavan

Does her marriage certificate not list father's name and occupation?
Unfortunately 1st complete census for Ireland is 1901 and civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages started in 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages). To search for church records you'll need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).  See Introduction to Irish Records-

Unfortunately, I do not have any certificates as I am trying to help my cousin find more about Jane's family for her 83 year old friend- Janes relative.

Both George Kemp and Jane Ann Pogg appear with this reference.
(Wartley is west Yorkshire)
