His occupation in 1901 was farmer
He left England after 1884 to live in Australia and returned to Middlezoy approx 1898

I think it say Old Birch (another pair of eyes needed).

Looking again I think you are right although the work House is not listed (I did say another pair of eyes were needed).

Looked at the 1881 census and the family are still at Old Dilch House with 3 more children. Josiah 10, Emma 4 & Oliver 5 (grandson).
