I am searching for relatives of Dorothy Patricia Tuttle - born 25/5/1923 in Kirkdale, West Derby in County of Liverpool and died 13/10/1965 in San Diego, California, USA. Her mother was Hannah Robson and her father was Robert Tuttle. Dorothy was married to Charles David Edwards and they had five children. I have Birth,Marriage and Deatch Certificates that will possibly be of interest to them

That is a shame - because I am pretty sure it is one of the daughters, going by the name given and the D which is the married surname.  She was born in San Diego in 1955.  Lets hope she picks the message up.

I think I have the name of the youngest daughter, husband etc , which I will pm - may give you something else to work on.

Arthur Guy Edwards was born 1893 Indiana and married Ethel May Norton  born 18 Feb 1891 in Wells. County. Indiana. Although the marriage is listed in Indiana Marriage Collections, it gave no date !! 
The parents of Ethel were William Norton and Isabella Phillips.

The 1920 Census shows Arthur & Ethel with family in Bridgeport, Lawrence, Illinois

Elijah Edwards and Barbara E Cromer were married in Harrison Indiana 25 July 1872.
The place of birth of the father and mother of Elijah is given as Indiana on the 1880 Census.
Occupation of Elijah on that Census was farmer.

I believe the parents of Elijah Edwards are Harvey Edwards and Lucinda Duggins. They were married  21 June 1838 in Harrison Co Indiana. Harvey remarries 21 Sept 1856 in Floyd Co Indiana to Margaret Yount born 1835 Indiana.

HI Sandra,
Hope you had a good Christmas - despite the weather. Many thanks for all the information - I have been in touch with both Patricia and her husband David, and have exchanged information.
I only have one other problem now!!. I can't find records (not having access to USA BMD) for my GGGrandfather - John Henry Albert Tuttle - I did post a question on the forum, but the website they suggested didn't yeild anything. He was born in New Haven,Connecticut in 1824 - his mother was Liza Atwater (I can't find her either) - he was born out of wedlock - his father is listed as John Todd Tuttle on John Henry's English Marriage certificate - John Todd Tuttle and Liza Atwater apparently were from New Haven Connecticut too. John Todd Tuttle was already married to someone else when John Henry was born. Would you know of any way I would be able to find these records? - I applied for John Henry's American Marriage certificate - and was told the only record they could supply was a certified piece of paper with the Bride and Groom's name - date of marriage,  but no other details like British Certificate have - eg - Names of Parents, Witnessess etc.

Your most welcome.  Absolutely delighted that contact was made - have had a few messages from the couple and they were thrilled.

Sad to say I don't really know what to suggest for John Henry Albert Tuttle - we did carry out some extensive searches earlier in the year and I've had another scout round but have'nt found anything to help you. Unfortunately records are sparse - if they exist for the time frame you are looking.  Maybe someone will find another avenue for you to search - fingers crossed.  Sorry I could'nt be more helpful on this one.
