Copyright exception is generally allowable under 'fair use' clause. Examples of fair use include commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship

I have managed to get pics of many of the houses my ancestors lived in via Google Street View and all I did was

Print Screen
Open up word
Paste to word
then cropped/enlarged for relevant house.

Works for me every time  :D
